Earth Week Meditation & Sound Healing
When: April 20th from 4:00PM – 5:00PM
Where: Atrium Lawn
Challenge to Change instructors, Kristin Kilburg and Rachel Harwood, will be on campus to celebrate Earth Week and lead interested members of the Clarke community through a live meditation and sound healing. The events will take place outside on the Atrium lawn, weather permitting. In case of bad weather, the sessions will be held on the same date and time, but in the Rose O’Toole conference room. Earth Day Movie Night: City of Trees
When: April 20th from 7PM – 8:30PM
Where: Jansen Music Hall
Join Engagement and Intercultural Programs for a Earth Week inspired movie night! City of Trees is a complex tale of social justice, urban forestry and community politics. It portrays the struggles of a D.C. non-profit to challenge the cycle of poverty and violence in blighted urban areas by implementing an ambitious “green jobs” program that hires residents to plant trees in underserved parks. Inauguration of President Thom D. Chesney, Ph.D.
When: April 28th from 4:00PM – 5:00PM
Where: Student Activity Center
Join CSA to celebrate the inauguration of Thom D. Chesney, Ph.D., as the 16th president of Clarke University. The celebration will start in the Kehl Center and a reception will follow in the Student Activity Center. Learn more on the Source! RSVP Required.

Clarke Fest!
When: April 30th 4:00PM – 8:00PM
Where: Clarke’s Campus
Join us as we celebrate on Clarke Drive! This end-of-the-year outdoor festival celebrates music, art, and Clarke campus culture! ClarkeFest will feature live musical performances, food trucks, inflatables, giveaways, and various activities provided by Clarke Student Organizations. Learn more on the Source!

Into the Streets Service Day
April 9, 2022 from 8AM – 12PM
Location: Dubuque Community
Join Campus Ministry for their semi-annual day of service! Volunteers will be assigned locations around the Dubuque community to volunteer at. Fill out the form on the Source if interested in volunteering! Meet in the SAC at 8AM, and volunteering will begin at 9AM!

One Clarke, One Community Boys & Girls Club Earth Week Event
April 26th from 5PM – 6PM
Location: Dubuque Boys & Girls Club

Join the Compass AVIE scholars at the Boys & Girls Club of Dubuque to promote our commitment to One Clarke, One Community. Compass AVIE students will be offering three activities for children at the Center to help the children understand the importance of sustainability efforts and Earth Week. RSVP on the Source!
